Wholesale Bond Paper Prices in the Philippines: Understanding 70 GSM and 80 GSM

When you compare bond paper prices, two boxes that look the same can differ in weight, sheet count and brand. Here is how to read wholesale prices correctly.

What drives the price of a box

• GSM (grams per square metre): heavier paper uses more pulp, so 80 GSM costs more than 70 GSM.
• Size: A3 is twice the area of A4, which is why it costs significantly more per box.
• Brand and grade: premium brands typically cost more because of brightness, smoothness and consistency.
• Packaging: always confirm the number of reams per box and sheets per ream.

Standard price list (Smartist, Hard Copy, Cactus, PaperOne and most brands):

• 70 GSM: Short ₱510, Long ₱530, A4 ₱520, A3 ₱730 per box
• 80 GSM: Short ₱610, Long ₱630, A4 ₱620, A3 ₱830 per box

Premium price list (Double A, Xerox Vitality, Reflex Ultra White, Chamex):

• 70 GSM: Short ₱515, Long ₱535, A4 ₱525, A3 ₱740 per box
• 80 GSM: Short ₱615, Long ₱635, A4 ₱625, A3 ₱840 per box

70 GSM or 80 GSM: which is better value?

For high-volume internal printing, 70 GSM gives the lowest cost per page. For documents printed on both sides, sent to clients or filed long-term, 80 GSM is more opaque and durable. Many buyers order both in the same lot.

Price per box, per ream and per sheet

To compare offers fairly, convert everything to the same unit. If a box contains 5 reams of 500 sheets (always confirm the packaging), a box at ₱620 works out to roughly one-fifth of that per ream, and the price per sheet is the box price divided by 2,500. Use the same method for every supplier quote.

Premium vs standard price lists

We publish two price lists. The premium list (Double A, Xerox Vitality, Reflex Ultra White and Chamex) is a few pesos higher per box than the standard list, which covers all other brands. For 80 GSM A4, that is ₱625 vs ₱620.

• Free Philippine delivery from 150 boxes (otherwise a fixed ₱2,000)
• 5% off from 250 boxes
• 10% off from 1,000 boxes

Prices in US dollars for international buyers

Official prices are in Philippine pesos. For export enquiries we show approximate US dollar equivalents at ₱63.47 = US$1 (3 Nov 2026). For example, standard 80 GSM A4 is about US$9.77 per box. The formal export quotation confirms the currency and final amount.

What makes bond paper prices change?

Pulp costs, freight and fuel, the peso exchange rate and seasonal demand (school opening) all move paper prices. We update our published list when costs change, so always confirm the current price in your quotation.
